this track is so heavy with jazz...I can feel Pat Metheny vibe in this one.

My thoughts exactly. I think the subtle hand claps contribute to the Metheny vibe. But on its own, this is still an awesome track. :)

Heavy Pat Metheny influence, for sure!!

I saw another video in which people were naming many jazz artists as influences. Forget it, not even close, this has a very, very, strong Pat Metheny/Lyle Mays influence..........which is fantastic. I would love to see Dirty Loops do a lot more in the jazz-jazz fusion genre. They have too much talent to play pop.

5:26 That, my friend, is the one and only Kenni Holmen. He's a super accomplished saxophonist (and flutist!), but I'll need someone who is far more educated than I am to give you his full background. :)

You can also catch Kenni on some other projects with Cory, such as Tailwinds (by The Fearless Flyers with Delta Force), Cory and the WongNotes (on Cory's KZbin), among other protects. He's an absolute beast on the tenor sax!

My favorite/intro to Kenni was when the Hornheads and Cory did a Stevie wonder medley. That percussion sax thing at the beginning is phenomenal.

This one is different from what I've come to expect from the Loops. Turns out Corey is doing a collab album with the Loops called 'Turbo' and I'm hearing his influence on this track. It's growing on me. There's so much in here to delight the ears. Congrats on the Silver Play Button, well deserved.

This is Cory Wong with Dirty Loops, which was posted on his channel, not Dirty Loops with Cory Wong which got posted on their channel. ;)

This is one of my favorite DLs track /well, one of many / partly because i love to see how they thrive with other star musicians. And the arrangements, which I guess is a result of their cooperation....? When do you ever hear brass sounding like this today, or maybe I'm too disconnected to the jazz scene of today? They play like grown-ups, of which there seem to be so few left of today... said the old man... I'm 55.

The instrumentation sounded really good, but it was so loud I couldn't hear a single word. It would be sad if The Weather Channel was the only place that you could hear this. It deserves to be played in jazz clubs, if not on tours also.
