Man. What a gem that place was. Amazing how extraordinary it seems now and how normal it was then. I even have a tape of when you sat in with 528 Ragtime, Hal. It's marvelous. We used to sing the speaking in tounges words you created in the jam at our rehearsals. I could probably still sing the whole thing. Man, Brady's was cool.

This was where I had my first cup of coffee. I miss the old place, so much character and soul. From the poets to the wall graffiti.

I've been fortunate enough to find three such coffeehouses in my life. Sadly, two are no longer, but my local place is still hanging on. As a musician, these places have been invaluable in giving me a venue to practice and perform.
