The BEST Guinness I ever had was at Rock Creek Winter Lodge, a XC ski lodge in California’s Sierra. The bottom of the one barrel, creamy, heavenly, the thing beer memories are made of, .. later I clipped into my skis and pushed off, straight into turtling on my back, skis tangled above me 😂 🍺

where tf have you been bro i'm tired of these youtube photographers who take shitty photos. You're one of the very few who's actually as good as of a photographer as you are a cinematographer. Brae the GOAT.

My first trip to Ireland was 17 years ago. Dublin was crazy and people were friendly. I remember one guy asked me where I was from and I said Pennsylvania and he lit up and said he had a cousin in PA and bought me a pint. However, I really fell in love with the country side. Killarney was beautiful and there are still patches of Celtic rainforest there.
@BraeHunziker2 ай бұрын
Yeah the countryside was spectacular. Such a cool country. Still lots for me to explore so I can't wait to come back. Thanks for the comment!

Just to be clear. When Americans & others talk about the Irish and drink, (which they usually do) please be aware that many people here DON'T drink alcohol, and the UK per head of population drink more than the Irish as do the people in Poland, Russia, Romania and others. I get tired of the stereotyping of the Irish and drink. Our pubs are for the social aspect of meeting friends as well as having a drink of course. Glad you enjoyed your visit here. 👍🇮🇪🇺🇸

Great to see you enjoyed my country, and my home city of Dublin. You also went to the best non tourist pubs, the Foggy Dew and Mulligan's being my two local haunts of which I frequent and enjoy Guinness on a regular basis. You should know by now that the whole splitting the G pish is a non Irish thing to do, just enjoy your pint, it's not a competition :) From a fellow film and Pentax 67ii shooter, Sláinte mo chara ☘

Thanks for the comment, Jim! Enjoy both those spots very much. Good to know about splitting the G. It has become second nature to give it a try every time I get a pint now 😅 Appreciate you watching the video. Cheers!

If you are a sucker for stone bridges over rivers, I'd recommend a trip to casselman bridge in western Maryland. I grew up near there and used to fish it. The thing is photogenic as hell. Add on some of the covered bridges in Pennsylvania and you'd have a hell of a trip. Yuengling too. Lemme know if you need a guide 😜

Noted! Need to get over to Maryland for sure. Haven't been there since I was just a kid. Appreciate the tip!

The best pint of Guinness you will ever have is at The Blue Light in the hills south of the city. All the rest of the places are for the tourists. 😎

I'll ask the dumb question... why is their so much variability in the taste of Guinness? Age? Freshness? Temperature of storage?
@BraeHunziker2 ай бұрын
I'm not entirely sure and I've heard varying opinions. I think a lot of it has to do with how the keg is treated and how clean the pipes are? As well as how many pints have already been poured from any given keg. People say that the temperature of storage definitely makes a difference. Could all be nonsense 🤷🏼♂️

Not to tell you how to drink your pint, but splitting the G is a bro move, the more contemporary Guinness drinker would not partake in such shite
