You character had every right to have Braham ready to put Caithe down - Caithe was a psychopath back then! We got to see her memories showing she was the first Sylvari to ever murder another Sylvari just because she didn't want to stand up to her crazy girlfriend. If your significant other wants to torture someone to _death_ for information, the right choice is to stop them, not kill the innocent so you can avoiding making your lover upset at you. Someone so ready to kill a totally defenseless person in cold blood is absolutely someone you should have watched with a loaded weapon. Also we should note Caithe has _never_ suffered consequences for that murder, at least Canach spent some time in jail.
