Lallantop Chunav Yatra - Dhubri, Assam:
All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) Chief Badruddin Ajmal, the three time MP from Dhubri is contesting for the 4th time. Other candidates are - Rakibul Hussain (Congress) and Zabed Islam (AGP, the NDA ally in state).
We talked to residents of Dhubri who had a lot to say on Ajmal's work as an MP in health, education and other sectors. We also guaged views on Uniform Civil Code (UCC) and Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the drug menace in Dhubri.
We also visited the riverine islands of Brahmaputra to document the lives of villages on Bangladesh border.

actually, under the Gati Shakti mission, there should have been a rail cum road bridge so that the western part of Meghalaya should also have been connected. Requesting @Lallantop team to show the pathetic condition of transportation in states like Chattisgarh, Assam, Meghalaya, Himalayan states, parts of Bihar, Jharkhand etc, also health and security issues as well during chunav yatra

Very biased reporting, they try to always undermine work done by govt. Put click bait title and not mention or ask people about their sentiments for the development work. Do the exact reverse in opposition bastion. No counter questioning people who talk about opposition. Anyway every media has their flavor of reporters. Most of the Ltop reporters are Left leaning. I would have preferred unhyphenated journalism, hence unsubscribing. Most the election interviews are done where everyone supports opposition, there is lack of evenhandedness and reporters don't try to fill in the gap. It can be a good leftist echo chamber, I would love to know how the places where interviews are shot is selected. Who comes to camera and speaks. Anyway the left leaning attitude is very clear, I think we need an app which can show political affiliation of each news channel (whether left or right), this helps people understand how far they should trust journalists. The public database of all journalists and their inclinations should be compiled based on their reports. Maybe one can transcribe these shows and ask ChatGPT to classify how much left leaning or right leaning someone is. This type of transparency is needed.
