We round up the Brahma, Hereford, and Brangus cows to sort the calves and sell off some of the older ones. A few crazy cows in this one!

They are friendly mate,, but you can see if they are cornered instinct kicks in, the other thing is when you try to communicate with cows make sure you dont kick the soil as this dude did in the video, kicking soil with your feet in front of adversary represents fighting in cows language. Thats what they do bulls before fighting if you saw them.

My favorite time in my youth was when I was part of the Santa Fe, NM high school band. Every summer our first performance was at the Santa Fe Rodeo. I always went to see the Brahma bulls in the waiting area. I enjoyed the bull riding event at the end of the night. One funny incident, my parents came to pick me up and a drunk cowboy walked by our truck telling my folks the '65 chevy was going to sleep. My dad had put chrome half covers on the headlights to add more chrome.

In the early 70’s we had three Brahma bulls dumped on our ranch. Fence cut, bulls ran in and then someone fixed the fence. We had register Black Angus!! So we rounded them up, put them in a pen with a 6 ft fence. They were standing there and then jumped the fence, No running, just levitated over! Luckily the Sheriff found were they had been stolen from! They were a nightmare!!

Draft it with a rifle, anything that frisky goes, dont care how good they are, bull or cow. Luckily only had 3 or 4 over 25 years.

I used to work with brahma cattle & 1 thing I learned over time was that a corral that was built to keep them moving was full of curves! When brahma cattle can't see the other end of the working shute, they keep moving! When a crazy 1 wanted to take me in a pen, I NEVER went in without a long hardwood stick! I could make them cross their legs & dance real funny like, & it only took twice before they left you alone! As my Dad would comment you hit hard enough to make their brain's rattle 🤣!

I like the fiberglass sticks, knocked out a cow with one. Just poking is very effective, but sometimes you have to breakout the baseball swing.

Whew! Had some red brahman bulls many years ago--they were good natured unless they got cornered or stressed. we had one that was halter broken and pretty docile, but if the local train came through you'd better drop the lead rope and head for the fence. He could sense the low rumble approaching, ears would pin straight back, and he was about to get upset---didn't help that the locomotive engineer would glance over, see the predicament, and intentionally blast the horn at our private crossing just to see our brahman cut-up!

That Brahma cow is a little high strung. I usually worry about the bulls but cows with that kind of defensiveness...... I carry a nice pipe, something easy to grip but has a wall thickness that won't bend easily if i end up need it. Thankfully I have had little need, but you just never know.

We have Sardo Negro.They are Zebu breed.They are not all bluff.They wil make you play Rodeo Clown.How fast can you run climb a fence.They will wreck your cow pen and go over a 6ft fence.

I worked the National Stock Yard Auction in Oklahoma City and several others for years. Never a dull moment. It's dirty, long hours and dangerous. It takes a special breed of people to do this kind of work, and stay in one piece. Injury and death is all to common or just plain worn out.

We had a bull we raised from a calf well once it got full grown it loved to run full speed at you and 10ft from you he would hit the breaks and he would slide the rest of the way up to you. We had nothing to hide behind just acres of open field a bucket in each hand full of grain and a whole lot of shit in our pants

We had a huge simmental bull, who was pretty mellow, unless there was a cow in heat or at calving. The only thing he would respect was a blue tick healer, who could control him like nothing

So you may have explained this in another video before but what type of operation do yall actually have? A lot of your videos are of working cattle and there is always a large variety of breeds. Are yall doing some type of a flex backgrounding or something?

Brahman cows are extremely intelligent and if you had a couple of cattle dogs she would have gone in first time. Not sure you are such a great farmer as you have left the baling wrapping on the ground whete the cattle can ingest it and cause injury.
