Shiva is one of the most important, celebrated and loved God in Hinduism. Basically if you guys know Yoga. Shiva is said to be its source. The philosophy of Advaita Vedanta (non dualism) comes from him. He represents de*ath and destruction which is truth of life. More like he detroys in order to create new.. He is formless yet can take forms. That last Yogi image was his most loved form by hindus. So they worship that form of his. He is known as the most innocent and easily pleased God in hinduism. Thats why he is also referred as Bhole naath. The innocent God.. so the name of the protagonist in Brahmastra is inspired by Lord Shiva. And Yeah Hinduism is the most oldest and the most liberal religion. In vedas sages says, " Ekam Sat, Viprah bahuda vadanti" meaning Truth is one but sages may call it by different name. Basically saying everybody relate according to their own temperament with God. Hinduism is more of a philosophy and way of life than religion. Its a culture, tradition.

I don't know what percentage of theaters will have this movie in the States but the AMC near me in Miami has a few showing in IMAX only. -Sol
