I must confess not to have heard this piece of music before but after only listening to it once, I find it very easy to listen to and very pleasant.

For me the earliest recollections of Brahms' First go back to the 1950s when AFN Frankfurt used, on an almost daily basis, the intro to the Third Movement (here at 23:28!) in order to start their classical music program for the American Forces stationed in Europe. This beautiful clarinets' introduction has been serving as an Ohrwurm melody ever since, apart from the grand and triumphant brass chorus in the symphony's Finale. Wishing all the best to Maestro Andrés Orozco-Estrada in his hometown Vienna.

Danke!
