I am really looking forward to this competition. In a world where seasoned professional performers inevitably suffer the same real world distractions as the rest of us, it is always wonderful to witness the fruits of intense, highly focused preparation that permits these young emerging artists to perform at their absolute best. It is great for them because it instills and reinforces the discipline needed to perform at the highest level - and not for just one concert - whilst being wonderful for the audience who gets to enjoy their artistry at its very best.

I didn't listen any of the semi finalists of this year ,having similar standards..And in the first round there were highly standard violinists who wasn't select for the semi finals!!As Anna Lee, Alexandra Weissebercker!!
