One other cool thing: you can teleport to any house you own for free. The Rosy Lion Inn is right infront of the way shrine in Daggerfall, and I think you can get it for free if it's your first house. Yes, I abuse this horribly.

It's the same for Mara's Kiss in Vulkhel Gard - it's right next to the wayshrine and stable. I don't think it has to be your first house though. You can teleport to any house you own.

"Do not spend money on shops." -- well I tend to disagree a bit, as a beginning player I was lacking style materials as well as some runes (jora, jera, the square ones, which can be bought). Those were hard to find and I could not find a place to source those. Where to get them then? The price at guild traders is much higher and finding those would take much more time than just spending ~50g on some rune or 15g on a style material. Can you make a suggestion on this?

Just buy jora and stuff for writs. If it pays for itself or you make profit because of it, its all good. I have too many toons to farm enough jora for writs so i buy 100 at a time from the npc.

Also furniture! Furniture vendors in cities have a lot of cool stuff that is cheaper than buying it off guild traders because people don't know what NPCs sell and those that do can try and take advantage. Not a super common problem but NPCs do have niche values. The main thing is not to buy gear from NPCs unless it is a set vendor like the elite gear vendor. This is mainly a trap you can fall into if you're a day 1 player but the basic NPCs littered around offer gear that is only really good for unlocking skill lines when you make a new character

Storage chests are awesome. On my character I've got two sets of armor: an overworld pure Exp leveling suit and a solo survival suit. By keeping the off suit in the storage chest, I don't have to worry about accidentally dismantling one of my good gear sets, or a set I'm working on completing.

You can lock gear items so they dont show up in the scrap table. Under options next to charge or repair

As a newer player i appreciate the vids! Already kinda made the mistake on number 1 where i spent half my gold on motifs lmao. Gotta look good! Quick question tho, i just hit cp 160 last night and was wondering if i should just start q'ing into vet dungeons now. I leveled my crafting along the way so i was able to craft some okay light armor with increased mag and was able to research divines on most of them aswell as got the shoulders for the monster set i wanted. Kinda confused on what i should be doing now for gear.

If you have eso plus go to craglorn and x up for normal trial runs. Most groups are pretty welcoming to new players and it’s a great way to get some really good item sets for harder content. I’d stay away from dlc vet content until you’re running a decently optimized set up to stay alive and do damage.

The wayshrine to wayshrine tip is a good one. I started a week ago and I didn't know about this so I would plan out my teleports to spend some time around the area gathering and fighting until the cost reduced again, I was teleporting to a wayshrine for gold while standing next to a wayshrine haha

Same here, actually. I've only just remembered that Wayshrine-to-Wayshrine is free (I used to do it all the time for Dolmen farming, don't know why I forgot it existed). About two to three weeks ago, I was doing Antiquities stuff, but was also planning around the cooldown fee for non-Wayshrine-to-Wayshrine teleporting. I got heavily back into ESO in '18, have popped back in here and there since, and I've been playing pretty heavily again through late Oct. and all of Nov. so far. Took me a while to remember Wayshrines are the free method of teleportation. ^^;

Another tip: buy the 2k gold sugar bowl suite in rimmen. Free port directly to wayshrine.

Don't even need to. Create a new dummy char, teleport to N. Elsweyr, start the Housing Tutorial quest (forgot what its called sadly). Apparently the quest's House "reward" depends on where did you launch the quest, so if you're in a Chapter zone and began the quest the end reward is the inn room of that zone if it exists. Its how I got the inn rooms in Daggerfall and Summerset. Just make sure you're in Elsweyr, start and finish the quest, boom 2Kg saved.

The banker is a huge help if you are not running in groups. I can't tell you the number of times I've been deep into a delve, run out of pack space, and given Ezabi a call, even with 150+ inventory now. At this point, I generally only need to melt my accumulation during my daily writs. Very nice. But! Not cheap. Not cheap at all.

I made A LOT of those mistakes! I bought lots of fish bait from npc's cause I thought I could use it for all types of fishing. My bank has over 400 items (only 2 characters 🙄) because I don't want to deconstruct the set items. I don't know if there is a possibility if for example you deconstruct fire staff mother sorrow and later you want it back, can you then make one because you have already deconstructed one? Or do I have to farm one again? And if so, how do I make one of that set? Cause the only sets I know of to make are those you can find in the zones like vampire kiss or adept rider,... I don't know where the option is to craft a previous owned mother sort piece

You can recon at a price of transmute crystals you get from undaunted. You need to do dungeons and anything that rewards you transmute crystals. The fuller your sticker book with these sets you can decon, the cheaper reconstructing them will be. Just consider the options tho. Reconstructing also required you to retrait it or to get resources for upgrades. Also the fact that one item can take 60 crystals and its not even the traits yet. One veteran dungeon gives you 5 transmute crystals per day. One random 10. Only per day. So yeah it's gonna suck but that's where you have to plan the transmute station is in clockwork city. It's dlc and if you don't own ESO plus, you have to invest in it manually

Any stamina or tank build. The perfect build for you is diff than the perfect build for me. Check build guides for most used skills but youve gotta test them for yourself. Easy enough to respec anyways with armory system coming.

Glyphs. Dear Lord, I made so many of those things and hung onto them until I was about level 40, I think! Early level Glyphs are nearly all junk. Get rid of anything you know you’re not going to want or ever use.

Mistakes? Find out the meta and then go farm it for a month just to have it nerfed the day after you complete the build. I never invest in meta builds, they are very temporary and just create longer term rage.

Not really true. Sure there are meta items which are fleeting, especially those guaranteed to be nerfed like the current Dark Convergence. There's a huge meta shakeup coming with the huge cross-stat damage and critical set changes, but I invested in Medusa for example and have gotten maybe hundreds of trial clears out of it. Spell Power Cure is the same story. I've finished builds only to realize they don't work as intended, but some sets especially the ones you see across top raid parses for years like Medusa, Roaring/Jorvuld, SPC, PA, Alkosh, have been worth what you invest, though I wouldn't invest right at this moment in DPS and stat-specific support sets before Deadlands drops.

I won 3rd place in a raffle and got 5k worth of crown items as reward. Because of item falling out crown store b4 I was paid I had to choose stuff I didn't want. One was 4 crown crates. TOTALLY USELESS! CROWN CRATES SUCK SO MUCH! I was able to get the dragon armor and weapon things but not the chitenous weapon part I wanted. I appreciate all the videos but as I'm coming up on a year of playing I have made a lot of the mistakes you named but I have done a lot of good on my own too. Lately I've been doing master writs. Wow are jc writs expensive!!

Spending crowns on something that is "not worth it" is obviously subjective. I like having an xp scroll up 100% of the time on all characters (I have 5 characters at the moment). So I spend crowns on more xp scrolls because there aren't enough in the daily rewards each month. But that is just how I play and I know some people don't care about xp scrolls except during events that offer double xp

the greatest mistake u can make is subbing to ESO+ lol...with a minimum of 9 characters (200 max inv slots each) and your storage chests, the lure of the craft bag is moot. Making gold in ESO is also easy as pie..and u can buy whichever p2w content you desire with ingame gold. 1-2 periods of ESO+ free trials annually also means you get to clear and farm DLC dungeons without having to shill for ZOS.
