It reminds me of the old fashion finger waves ( close to the head) but with braids.

I was doing this on my brother back in the 90’s one whole single braid. I didn’t think to take pictures of it back than but yea I did this on my brother’s hair.

Your daughter has beautiful long thick hair. Its gorgeous and looks very healthy. ♡ Im 34 and recently started to experience hairloss in places .. i think i may have the start of alopecia... which sucks. I remember when i was younger i always wanted to TRY a style LIKE this. Just like braids to my head .. ive always loved the way they looked and wanted to try it atleast once. . . I never did and now its too late because i cant stop my hair from falling out :( Maybe i can find a cute braided wig to try for fun sometime. Anyways very gorgeous hairstyle. Love it so much. Your very talented. I cant even do a french braid on my daughter 😂

My son is extremely tender headed I used to put sunscreen spray or gel containing lidocaine on his scalp. About thirty minutes before styling is good enough time. He had locs when he was young, but now he’s an adult with loose freeformed locs. I’m going to try this style for his wedding and add pearl beads like on his bride’s dress.

They do give a finger wave feel and that's why I love this so much. I hope this becomes a trend for decades for us to feel comfortable within our skin as we show style and beauty and of course give our scalp and roots some much needed AIR TO BREATHE 😂😂❤❤❤❤❤

Would of felt better if you crochet the hair in between the loop to hide the end just because I’d fuss with finding and cutting the thread but the length of the hairstyle makes up for the difficulty at the end but I like being able to take down as instant as possible.

I think the best method would be to start with a smaller section when dealing with a client that has more hair. Always seems to work better for me.

My braids would be so fat. I'd look like I had a braid-fro. Not for the length or even thickness of my hair now, but because of the volume. Every time I sit in a hairdresser or barber's chair they complain about the amount of hair. This style is for those uniquely blessed.

I’m thinking maybe crochet the ends in that way it won’t be so bulky
@HairIsGlory9 ай бұрын
Bless you! Thats a great idea! but it’s not the end that was the problem with it being bulky. it gets bulky as you get about halfway through the (braid) style when the client has thick/long dense hair
