My first board was a Walmart board. Having Braille in Walmart would have been a godsend when I was a kid. There is only a zumiez in my area but a whole lot of Walmarts. I recently saw a Braille board at my local Walmart and they do look like they’re great quality for the price. Definitely better than the competition. I’m happy to see that kids interested in skateboarding can have a decent first board that doesn’t break the bank.

I cant even remember the graphic on mine but my first board was a walmart board. I learned to ollie and drop in on that. Then it started chipping and delaminating. Doesnt help i grew up in WA and it was pretty much always raining while i was skating

Game of skate but the board will have something removed after a trick is set and everyone has a turn ( a screw, no grip tape, replace one of the wheels with something worse, water log the board)

Everyone really became afraid of the vert halfpipe after Ricky bodied, yet they'll drop in on the vert quarterpipe. Lest we forget Ricky dropped in off of about 5 feet of vert onto concrete and it was a quarter. The Braille halfpipe is way safer.

I think multiple classifiers can apply to a thing. For instance, there is competitive dancing which makes it a sport, but it's definitely an art too. In the same way skating can be competitive making it a sport and it can be a form of expression like art and it can be a lifestyle. Skating is whatever you want it to be.

I remember working for a sporting goods wholesaler a few years ago. One day, before our weekly meeting, the owner found out I liked to skate and he asked me what I thought about our boards. I was honest and let him know they weren't exactly "proffesional grade" boards but they were much better than a "Wal-Mart board." First congratulations on getting into Walmart. That’s straight money, literally. It’s funny but those boards don’t sound the same as the other boards. Are the wheels and the bearings the same? What about the trucks. They sound softer and maybe not as quick as the boards you usually ride. They almost sound like a Nash board from Toys r us back in the 80’s. Ok Aaron, just said regular board. I was worried about the quality of your “regular,” boards. Whew…😉👍 Ok, I get it now. Fair enough. I get it yeah you’re right. When you start you don’t want to spend a lot. This does get you started. My first board was my uncle’s from the 60’s and that was free. so yeah, you’re right and your goal is clear and this directly aligns with that. Awesome job guys. Braille is for real. 👍
