Lance is always providing valuable feedback for us beginners, or more specific what helps him progress. What amazes me is that he always pulls it off, even though he clearly believes at the start that he is not ready for or able to do a trick ('I really did not think I could do that') Extra pressure of all the skate gods present sure helps him to commit. I try to filter his tips out of the clips, as these seem to help me a lot. Why is he not committing as much as he should: fear of injury. After he realized that the risk is limited he stick it. Good inspiration Lance, keep on progressing and make sure to share your thoughts and reflections LOUDER (as noisy AK tends to over-shout most of it)

A good exercise I saw from a skater youtuber here in Brazil (Jasiel Calixto), is to first jump the stairs a couple times without the skateboard, so you build confidence beforehand. Only when you're sure you can clear it you give your first try with the board under your feet.

Lance Congrats! From what I watched, all of your best/promising attempts were all popped.. where as the awkward attempts with less commitment had no pop at all.. feels safer but actually way more dangerous because it feels like a lot of airtime while your there just waiting to land.. When theres pop, there's a much better rhythm to the whole manoeuvre, because each step of the sequence gets the needed amount of time..Would be my little advice for you! Nicely done and I'm a loyal fan for the last few years! Keep it up and long live Braille!

Modest89 he doesnt skate consistently. every time we see him get on a board it almost in a way is like he is trying to relearn. i used to have treflips super consistent but i stopped skating for a while because of work and now i also look like im doing them for the first time every try. regardless, im proud of him!
