Braille is about getting out there. Gabe - with your understanding, it could be a cool set of videos getting Ricky or Chris to teach you. Go over the pitfalls on learning a new trick. Things to watch out for and avoid. You are in a great position to bridge the gap between those just starting and those shredding up the park. P.S. - Any chance of hitting Burnside? Has JD been there before?

Thanks for showing the possibilities at my favorite local skatepark and for keeping it positive. There's ample criticism of it online, saying that it was poorly designed and has no flow. I think that the uniqueness of the features and the lake view more than make up for the limited flow. There's also the taco, the steep c-bank & its ledge, and the banked stair set that didn't get much coverage, but are visible in the video and fun. Maybe land in the area is too expensive for the small city of Monterey to have built a large, flowy skatepark?
