Hear me out!! 5 years ago they had visited my school where they trained us to be able to perform like this. After 30 mins of training, they called me to try it out. I was able to guess all the products and colors right and its just because the cotton creates a gap in the nose area which enables us to see through the gap :) Edit: I am not arguing that this skill is impossible to achieve, but right after half an hour of training he expected us to perform this which is impossible to do, and this makes me suspect his genuineness as well.
