Henlo, my Famboos~! 🐼 Thank you so much, my 40,000 SUBSCRIBERS! ✨ I can’t believe that I'm singing this song again after so many years. 11 years to be exact! My first cover of IN MY DREAM has received quite a few appreciations in the Japanese video sharing site, Niconico. But sadly, I stopped uploading my covers there because I’m having a hard time figuring out how to reply to comments and the overall content management. 😅 But I’m happy that I can now reach my Japanese audience here on KZbin, too! 🤗 I still haven’t watched the anime, Brain Powerd but I first learned of this awesome opening theme because of the anime compilation CD that I bought in Comic Alley before. And the first time I heard IN MY DREAM and Eri Shingyoji’s vocals, I was stunned at how high it is. 😲 But my younger self took the challenge and sing it anyway. If that were to happen now, I don’t think I’d even attempt singing this. 😅 Brain Powerd is also one of my favorite units to use in SRW. Anyway, I also just found out that Brain Powerd Blu-ray Revival Box (Limited Edition) is coming this March 29, 2022! To my Famboos who requested this song, thank you for patiently waiting! This song keeps me up at night with how difficult it can be to sing. I mean you practically have to shout for the last minute and a half! I just knew you would absolutely nail this cover after your first try all those years ago. What really sets this cover apart for me is how you really give it your all, without making it sound like you're struggling or running out of breath. I've said this before about your singing, but the vocals always just sound so "right" and on point when you do it. Oh and the backing vocals is just the cherry on top. Thank you for revisiting this hidden classic and looking forward to all the great covers to come!

This cover work of yours has all the elements of the 90s era, from the style of the art and animation of the show, the story plot that involves a "plethora" of ladies in the cast and the style of singing, the original singer always belts her vocals to the max, but you gave it another flavor again, the way you sang it did not made you belt such high vocals, wherein I find it very good again.......congrats again for a wonderful cover...best regards always.

Sick cover as always! I haven't seen Brain Powered either, but this song is a banger for sure, and it's scary how well you hit the high notes. But of trivia, the Brain units themselves were designed by Mamoru Nagano, who also did the mechanical designs for L-Gaim, Zeta Gundam and Five Star Stories. His mecha are always unorthodox in their proportions and strike a middle ground between appearing weighty and imposing while being simultaneously elegant and feminine.

Just checked this out since the other covers were pretty amazing on this channel, and I have to say that this cover, in my opinion, is sung even better than the original! The "in my dream" section had always felt like the original singer shouted it in my face that made me it's not quite perfect, but the way you managed to pitch your tone higher without that feeling makes this amazing song perfect!
