As a Canadian, we celebrate Thanksgiving in October cuz our harvest is shorter. And Labour Day is in September. Labour day is a celebration of workers, like International Worker's Day. It's essentially a bank holiday I think they're called in the UK? Also we have Canada Day on July 1st.
