brain was such an interesting character, i kinda hope his true fate is similar to the light novel, but this is an awesome end for the character that was frightened by a monster to die being recognized as an asset by another

It's exactly the same, except better since we have the context. That street was the same one he met Sebas, where Gazeff found him. On top of that, Brain had Surpassed Gazeff in level and talent, he even went as far as breaking the rules of the world, his limit was about level 35, his final attack was level 40. He would've died after a minute. But Brain did it, he still broke his limits, the only character to do that

At that moment, Brain became the strongest human in the new world. Unfortunately, Cocytus is way, way, waaaaayy stronger.

I believe Brain was around level 40 here and reached the realm of heroes which Gazef never managed to reach. Gazef with 5 treasures of kingdom is still weaker than this version of Brain. The character growth and development for Brain is insane and I loved his character a lot
