I felt so seen with the Spider-Man discussion!! I’ve been saying this for years! Tobey plays a super nerdy Peter, and has the most nostalgia but his age always throws me off. Andrew is the funniest Spider-Man, but his Peter was too cool. I feel like Tom honestly has a good mix of both, but I like what they said about him missing the “home-grown” feel of Spider-Man that the other two had. Stay leaky!

Bro this reminds me of a time my aunt (whos like 70) thought that 5 year old, quietly anti-social me would like to go to some sort of babysitting community thing and us kids were expecting like idfk, like toys and at the least some colorful decor. Nope. It was a conference room for a workplace. They had us try eggnog (which at the time I had no clue what that was and thought it was a smoothie) and then they turned on "I'm a Gummy Bear" which now lives in my brain and I wish it would leave me alone. (There was nothing in the eggnog, this was completely safe. I still have no clue what that even was but my aunt very particular about letting me do things that may not be safe so if she thought it was safe than I feel like she was right)

I felt what Seán said about smells and bodily fluids on a spiritual level anything that reminds me of something gross will make me feel nauseous. And I'm emetophobic as fuck so that's a major turn off for me. Also idk if that thing would work like a vape or whatever but imagine all the toxins you'd be inhaling sniffing artificial gun powder all day. It just feels like a terrible idea. I like to be immersed in media but not THAT immersed.

The smell thing for Videogames could be really cool, but the technology just isn't there yet. In its current form it'd just be used for moments. Just imagine when you leave the Vault for the first time in Fallout 3. You'd go from a smell that's very sterile to a deserty smell mixed with napalm. It'd genuinely be amazing, but then it'd just overstay its welcome. If we ever got to the point where we had True VR Games(like in SAO), then of course I'd want everything to have a smell, but as of now its just a fun gimmick.
