Program Notes:
"Dancing in the Wind" was a test piece for the 2004 All Japan Band Competition. The revised version for large and small bands was published in 2022. This flexible version was "re-created" with the following concepts:
1) To enable small bands to play (6 parts and percussion).
2) To cover as many motifs and phrases as possible from the wind orchestra version.
3) To have a variety of interpretations (without adhering to the original).
