Sir i was also getting confus on varum valgum until i started imagining a rum bottle in between knee that is genuvaRUM... N knee joints getting fussed together due to gum in between that is genuvalGUM... this finishes the confusion....

Val'gum'- sticks knees together, Va'rum'- imagine a rum bottle between knees, separates knees apart.
