Facts six inches is a lot 4 inches is perfect, especially if the clamp has a hood personality.

Your bakes looked like they were at 5-6 mm. which isn’t too bad, I would’ve changed the rotors & brake fluid to because probably were not changed from a previous pad swap. Gotta make sure that they aren’t glazing and that the rotors are higher or under discard rate to determine re-usage. That can cause squeaking

You could also just use pliers to compress the piston back in. Either way great video and props for always working on your car with long ass nails😂idk how you do it
@JzLyfe3 жыл бұрын
Dont listen to this guy bad advice for anybody doing their own brakes. If you use pliers it could cause the piston to compress at an angle and can cause it to move un even and cause caliper failures.

Suggest that you replace all the Brake Rotors when replacing the Brake Pads!....What you just did when adding New Brake Pads to the old rotors is that the New pads are not fully grabbing the Brake Rotors because your old rotors have "grooves" on them...After replacing the Rotors & Pads you also need to do a proper "Brake Bedding"" process on them.
