Lemme just start off with saying that Brakence is truly a talented person. Thank you so much for making music and showing the world what you are capable of. Your music has frankly made me incredibly happy despite the meaning of this song along with fuckboy. I decided to dissect this song because I noticed that the Brakence that threw the phone was in the same outfit as Brakence in Fuckboy. So I read the lyrics and this is what I got outta it: Brakence was in a ‘friends with benefits’ relationship. But he started to catch feelings for the person he was fwb with. He got tired of lying about his feelings that he was catching. So he told them the truth. That person decided to leave while they got their satisfaction from him, when all he wanted was a real relationship. The first verse was about his grief and himself trying to mend things back together and tying up the loose ends. But in the chorus, it means that his way of getting over the fwb is fucking all of his friends and basically doing the same thing that the fwb did to him. That’s his way of coping with the heartbreak. And at the end, it’s about him not even caring about tying up the loose ends because he’s over it... Now for the connection with Fuckboy. It’s basically backwards. Fwb is the start of it all, and Fuckboy is the outcome. In the song Fuckboy, it basically shows how the fwb has left a scar on him, and that’s what has come of it. Read the lyrics! It’ll totally make sense! Thank you Brakence for inspiring me to look into it more 😂

great observosharpe on both songs i agree widu. also his fwb are ghost friends...and vampyric too. hence why they use the camp fire as back drop....also in fuckboy....the orange grove is a symbol of royality and gods divinity as why brakance holds the orange to the sun.....its not an just a location it has significence, notice how he dances in the grove and ultimately falls down...in humility....and the oranges fall around him....even his nail polish colour schemes has a subtle meaning to besides being colour cordinated to the back ground. Yeah brakance is no simple e boy rapper he is wicked futureo. its going to be so amazing how he gets more and more evolved....to see his transformations....truly talented.

I can't take a lie back, now it's stuck outside me I can't take this shit lightly If you want an ear, you know where to find me [Pre-Chorus] High on IG, flirtin' with a couple homies I said I'm too eager, couldn't keep you And she told me "Keep it lowkey, only rule is staying open" I'm like "Where'd my line go?" You just stole it [Chorus] Try and catch me tying up loose ends I'm past that, now I wanna fuck all my friends No patience, sick of being stuck in the end I'm past you, didn't wanna fuck you again Yeah, I just wanna fuck all my friends No patience, sick of being stuck in the end I never wanna fuck you again I'm past that, now I wanna fuck all my friends [Verse 2] And I no longer plan to hide in the snow and wait 'till you hold my hand Now there's a four in five chance that she'll get her fine friend And I'll be a nine-ten to 'em Fucked up 'cause you were gone and the clique gone too Turned into someone people come onto I didn't understand how I could've macked Y'all gonna wonder who I am [Chorus] Try and catch me tying up loose ends I'm past that, now I wanna fuck all my friends No patience, sick of being stuck in the end I'm past you, didn't wanna fuck you again Yeah, I just wanna fuck all my friends No patience, sick of being stuck in the end I never wanna fuck you again I'm past that, now I wanna fuck all my friends [Outro] Try- Try- Try and- Try and catch me, try and catch me Try and catch me tying up loose ends Try and catch me tying up a loose end Try and catch me tying up loose ends Try and catch me, try and catch me
