One of my favourite moments is Cory giving Alex that smug look fully understanding what Alex is capable of… that’s she’s not some old desperate woman. She’s ruthless and calculating but has never been supported in that role so she almost immediately retracts to “what have I done” mode.

I think Alex likes Bradley because at the end of the day she admires Bradley’s honesty and her desire to discover the truth. Maybe at one point Alex went into this business wanting to make a difference and be a truth seeker but got caught up with the fake world she’s living in. Seeing Bradley just completely ignore the fakeness and being able to see underneath the surface of it all just reminded her of what she was trying to do. Bradley really shattered the glass wall everyone at the studio was hiding behind to try to protect themselves from the wolves on the other side. She woke them up to the fact that you can’t hide from wolves when you are living in their territory. You have to face them or you might find yourself becoming one of them. Then you really won’t like yourself. I feel like Alex was close to becoming a wolf but Bradley woke her up and showed her that she doesn’t have to go down that path.
