Bran was frustrated by how the handicap were treated in Westeros. He burned down King's Landing so that he could make it more wheelchair accessible.
@jat39165 жыл бұрын
Finally, a theory that makes sense. I agree totally. GRRM said that the ending could be found in the beginning. Jojen tells Bran he’s the only thing that matters. He believes that so deeply he’s willing to die to get Bran where he needs to be. Bran’s life has been irrevocably changed before that, but once he becomes the Three Eyed Raven he seems to lose who he is. I hope he has the chance to regain some of it, but, I think he’ll be required to give his life to pay for the lives of the still living. A young boy who is sweet, likeable, and good, he’s tossed out a window to die, but manages to survive but he’s never going to be who he was. He makes a harrowing trip to find his destiny and once again he’s changed irrevocably. This beautiful young boy, will never have the chance to live his life as Brandon Stark, will end up sacrificing everything he is so humanity has the chance to survive. If that’s not bittersweet, I don’t know what it is.

In regards to Bran's humanity, he's not entirely Bran anymore - i.e. human - as he said to Meera at Winterfell. So his humanity won't play a significant role in his decisions, it'll mostly be the desire to win the war, which gives credit to your claim of him warging a dragon and burning down King's Landing. Great assessment and vid!

This is by far one of the best theories that I have heard. People have thought I am crazy when I brought up the house of the undying and Bran's vision of a dragon over Kings Landing. I think this has a very strong possibility of happening.
@bobsanderson65205 жыл бұрын
Yeah, he has visions. Is he actually required to be present at these visions? No. He see's history. So why does he have to be warged into the dragon to see its POV shadow? No more than he was standing there at Rhags and Lyanna's wedding. It's also really dumb in the context of burning KL. Caches of wild fire are still stored all around the city. Dragons aren't necessary. And what's the narrative predicate? Bran has to swing the sword? For what? He's jesus christ and he decides whether mankind is good or not? Ned's lesson was about restraint and responsibility in killing, not about bloodlust. Dumb.

A great theory was that bran whispered to the mad king to "burn them all" so that he would make a lot of wildfire which were then stored in most areas of king's landing ( as seen when Cersei blows up the sept of baelor). It would then be easy for Bran who would have warged into the dragon to make them go off like bombs by scorching the earth. Then your theory would most likely apply but i doubt bran could kill all white walkers before getting shut down ( like viserion) so the wildfire could help in that regard

Let me clear one thing from my end, I'm too cheap to pay for an hbo subscription. But I dated someone who owned couple of the first seasons dvd's so I watch some. It seems as you have read the books and watched the series as well as interviews with the author. All you explained makes total sense as well as Bran having the powers he does. To that I will add that on an interview the actor that plays Brienne mentioned how she reacted when she read the final script, she cried and got upset so your forecasted ending makes more sense. Anyway, we'll see how it all ends thank you for all your great depiction!

“ Only death can pay for life “ and in this case that is very harsh and true the death of millions will give possible life to the ones left 🥺 Only question is the wildfire it will still be used right? So the dragon will mainly be the ignition source from above to cover larger area and bring King Ares arc full circle as well???
@lexj.21626 жыл бұрын
I'd certainly prefer a climax such as this as opposed to a beaten path, one on one victory over the oncoming villain. or having to overcome the forces of cersei to take hold of the iron throne, on the show. this possible ending can certainly be realized in the books, with the potpourri of destruction converging on apocalypse ground zero which is king's landing. what with euron and his exotic ideas, faegon and his army, danerys and hers, and the distant whisper of the white walkers, who have to be high fiving each other over humanity rolling out the carpet to their own doom. bran would have to beat them to the punch to salvage the rest of the planet over what seems to be an effort of tabula rasa.

I always thought that Kl would come into play with the army of the dead. I knew GrRM wasn’t inserting KL/Wildfire info into his books for no reason. I just never knew how it would happen. I always thought Cersei would be the unwitting hero that accidentally dealt with the Army of the dead by burning down the city. This is a good theory too tho. Fits nicely with what we know

The Long Night was a master class in how to ignore or subvert basic military tactics. For all the people claiming this theory is wrong, they need to open their eyes at how accurate it is. There are even multiple angles to attack this on. Bran wasn’t just changed the night he became a three-eyed raven. His life was forever changed the day he was thrown from the tower, and lost the use of his legs. In a medieval world, Bran was as good as dead, yet left Winterfell, and traveled north, beyond the wall, despite his crippled state. That’s all fine and dandy, maybe even poetic, but it doesn’t make him a hero at all. This all makes him the perfect villain. Ned attempts to imbue him with old wisdom, and it begins to get twisted when Bran gets thrown from the tower. From then on, Bran is nothing but a petulant, reclusive, self-loathing child trapped in an aging, crippled, human shell, with little value for human life, let alone his own. Get ready folks. Your hero is also a villain. It only depends on how you look at things.

I said that there maybe one or more other dragons in this story, and that very scene where a shadow of a dragon was flying over that city made me come to that conclusion cause I said to myself why would they put a scene like that in the story, and stories like these always have clues about what's to come later on in the story. Also how does anyone know that those incidents where there were a little girl, and animals that were burnt to a crisp was done by the dragon queen's dragons? I also believe that Ghost has a huge army of wolves that is going to help with the big battle that is to come, and they're going to come when Jon, and company seems to start losing the battle. I don't know just guessing, but I do know that there's going to be a lot of surprises to come in the last five episodes.

Someone raising another one to balance nature? As you said in another video if the prince that was promised was the baby of Daenarys and Jon, and there can't be no more. Maybe Bran when he say Jon didn't love anymore Daenarys he would have to burn king Landing to keep is safe, burn the ressources. I have to think about this one a bit more.

If Bran's vision of a dragon was of him flying over King's Landing to destroy the army of the dead, then King's Landing should be frozen, but it's clearly not. I think it's more likely that the dragon gets to King's Landing before the White Walkers do. Also, the army of the dead are animated by the White Walkers. It would only make sense for Bran to warg into a dragon to kill the White Walkers--not the army of the dead, as they will go away as soon as the White Walkers are gone. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
