[BRANCHING] Tracer Has A Sister??? | Overwatch / Farlight 84 / SFM / Animation

That's right, ladies and gentlemen. In this mad headcanon universe of mine, Tracer from Overwatch, and Maggie from Farlight 84, are biological siblings. Tracer being the oldest, and Maggie the youngest. Siblings from two separate franchises is something I've never done before, but after discovering Farlight mid last year, and immediately noticing the many similarities Maggie shared with Tracer, I thought it would be a fun idea to make these two sisters. So what's Farlight 84? And who exactly is Maggie? It's a free-to-play 3rd person battle royale available on mobile and PC (With a planned console release in the future) that is heavily inspired by Apex Legends, even outright copying it. Quirky characters with their own unique personalities and abilities set in a map where you find weapons and different attachments for them. Sound familiar? But the thing that helps the game stand out are jetpacks, 4-player teams, lots of vehicles, and a leveling system that makes your character stronger as the match progresses. Despite being a blatant copy of Apex (Even down to character designs and abilities), it was a surprising amount of fun, and I spent plenty of time with it during my breaks from the film. As for who Maggie is? I'll admit I'm not too versed on the Farlight 84 story, only that Maggie is a cheerful fun-loving pizza delivery girl who, like her older sister ;) , loves a good sense of speed. Unfortunately, I stopped playing the game in late January after they dropped a controversial update that severely crippled jetpacks. The game's MAIN attraction. This caused a massive outrage from the community, who begged the devs not to change the jetpacks after hinting it some time in December, but confirming it on January. And many, like me, have dropped the game because of it. Just look at the numbers on Steam Charts. If you're still curious to check it out yourself, like I said, free-to-play, on mobile and PC. Still, I love the characters (Ceanna was my main, but Maggie is my favorite), and I'm not gonna let the game's controversy change how I feel about the cast. If more of them become available in SFM, I'd love to make more animations with them. It's good to be back!

This is exactly the kind of thing I live about SFM Cinema. Any game character you want can be tossed into utter chaos. Either if their fighting over a slice of cake, crushing hard on someone else, or being a notorious booty warrior (literally) it's all wonderfully animated. I can say, as a 3d animator, this is relatively easy to animate. You skip a ton of steps in this style. But the imagination for these is highly impressive and funny.
