While many of the other class 1 rr's are having older locomotives rebuilt BNSF is buying new. I wonder how their train crews are doing since that new policy came out a few years ago in the news?

what is the point in making these long trains. why not split them up ?

Profit, running longer and fewer trains means less cost to pay crews and fuel, even if it’s less safe.

I don't know how true it is but these heavies are 436,000 pounds from what I heard. Again don't know if it's true

@@RyanHatterer-Ryanns999 Most railroads have units at 432000 pounds, but yes, I think BNSF is the only with 436 so far.
