Green Light is to indicate if the operator is wearing a seat belt, it will light up if you fasten it. Majority of new(ish) equipment has it in the UK and it looks like the Health and safety nonsense has made it over the pond.

NICE.! One bad thing about DEF as many truck drivers this winter found out "DEF FREEZES AT LOWER temperature than Diesel fuel. A friend who is "Lease purchasing" from PRIME Transportation had DEF tank frozen at a time when the Exhaust emissions filter had clogged up & needed a FORCED REGEN, had to be towed to a Freightliner Dealer, where it sat several days in "-20f" degree weather & caused the fuel to gel & stop up fuel lines. If it wasn't for being under warranty, she would have been out several thousand dollars, with warranty, all she had to pay was for oil change & cleaning out fuel lines & refilling the gelled diesel fuel. :-( (She hadn't received the tow bill at last check.)

@OUKRH55 жыл бұрын
Its a nice machine, the feel on the controls is a little bit different since it has no pilot hydraulics but electronics instead, but once you get used to it in my opinion it is fine. I really like the feature that there is a mode, that prevents the cab from being hitten by the bucket, and such. It gives you much more peace of mind, when the machine is parked on a pile of gravel, having truck drivers that use an excavator maybe for the first time, to loading their trucks. The Machine on your video has quite a huge Quick Hitch build height.

I'm a pipeliner so we're using the 349 and 336 series of machines. I have seen the new 336 on the pipeline but no 349's . My 349F has 4k hours already. I see they have a 352 out now. I expect to see a few of those on our heavy wall 42" projects. I love those 320's. Been yrs since I've been on one. The larger series that we use are pigs. But they will dig some ground for sure, especially with a 72" on it. Then it's all about volume over speed. That's where its at then. Great videos!! Keep them coming.

Those extra hydraulic lines at boom cylinders are there because of hose blowdown valve. I dont know whats the real word for it, but when hose breaks down all cylinders that has that valve on wont release pressure. Where I'm from, green lights are reserved for volunteer firefighters, many of whom respond to the station, or sometimes directly to whatever scene - fire/accident. They can have a green beacon on their dash or their roof, and (during daylight hours) can run alternating headlights. So I guess if you see a green beacon on machinery at a jobsite, you would tend to assume that it's this seatbelt thing, or perhaps like someone else commented, a warning that the machine is remotely controlled?
