I own pretty much every pair of clipper and trimmer ( I collect them ) LOL .... right now these are my favorite clippers..... out the box I threw the magic clipper blade on it zero gapped it and been putting in work and also the battery life on these is great and light weight in the hand ......... I get the protege on sale through royal beauty supply for 60-70$ ...... each month the sales are different so the price varies on all tools

Just a heads up for anyone, my protege clippers stopped holding charge after 6 months of hard use. I cut my hair every 3 days with them, the motor seemed weaker than magic clips. I wouldn’t recommend these tbh

I've had my eye on the Babyliss Rose Gold FX trimmers for months now, but ya girl is trying to save some $$$. How are these in comparison? How do they fade? I'm in cosmetology school and I just got the cheap wired Wahl clippers and I HAAAAAAATE them. Mine are currently broken at the moment 🙄

If it works for you then no need, there are some things you can do to make it hit harder though. X pro + the one blade from gamma, or philthy nods to use an fx blade or others

How do the liners hit on shape ups and beards? Is it crispy .. and hair texture corse vs straight or curly.? Hair.. I was homeless and am inside but looking to make ..I have around $200.. price wise they seem good but I need machines that hit mostly the trimmers... a little cash left over .. I can try and get a cheap cape, razor, cool car and comb and brush..

I have owned a pair of gammas the switch lever becomes real loose the clippers don’t work properly sometimes they don’t turn on or off the lever is gimmicky the materials used are cheap and useless I recommend wahl magic clips or seniors these gammas are nowhere near as powerful as the wahl nothing can beat wahl why do you think that they are copying the shape and blade of the clippers wahl is the classic to go clippers that will never let you down
