Brand New Geesink N4 With GNG Bin Lifts Bin Lorry Collecting Food and General Waste

Hi, this video features a 2023 Mercedes Econic with a Geesink N4 TH body with GNG Smart Lifts and a food pod up front. This truck is brand new. Sadly the lifts are already so weak I doubt they will last very long. This truck is collecting general waste and food waste.

They give 1100's an almighty bang and it shakes the whole lift

Ah right, how long are they planning to keep them for as they don't look like they will last 7 years. If it were me in a few years I would swap them for rotary 3's or Deltas as the bodies them self are alright.

They do seem a bit weak you're right, I wonder if their power can be toggled from the cab or on the lifter console? I remember those Terberg lifters I used did have options like that.

Nice catch! Love the GNG lifts but my God the bangs on those lifts are the worst ive ever seen on any bin lift!

Thanks, yeah these bin lifts are dreadful. A lorry had to go back to the yard at 8:30 yesterday as the lifts broke and they gave up on it. I don't think these lifts will last long they will have to set it on like 10 bangs if they try and keep it 7 years.

Brilliant video mate, love the smartlift! Dont think they needed the shaker on until near the end, just held them back. The smartlift are nothing like the combi split surprisingly, i expected them to have more power in them. Keep it up mate

Thanks, they look good and I really hoped they would have a good amount of power but this just bad. A lorry went back to the yard at 8:30 the other day as 1lift auto does not work on and 1 only goes up on auto. Hopefully the council will swap them for Deltas or rotary 3's in a year or two as the gngs will be dead by then
