Brand New Johnson City, Tennessee Listing in Great Neighborhood!

Tiffany, We currently live in West Central Florida and have been considering a move to N/E Tennessee. After the last two hurricanes, Helene & Milton our interest in relocating has increased. We are curious as to the actual damage and/or effect hurricane Milton had on the area, specifically Johnson City, Elizabethton and Jonesborough. Thanks in advance.

Hey! No effects that I'm aware of from Milton but Helene did a lot of damage. Not necessarily from the wind but from the amount of rain we received. Flooding from NC flowed into TN and lots of homes/properties along the rivers (like the Nolichucky) were destroyed. It mainly only effected the homes that are very close to the river.... Which are a lot of homes. But a small % overall.
