I'm running a 7.2.2 system, Denon AVR-X8500H, Klipsch RF-7 III towers, RP-450C center, RP-250S surround, R-12SW subs (2) and four in-ceiling CDT-5800Cii. Because of my back wall issues, I'm running two of the in-ceiling CDT-5800Cii as back speakers and two as Atmos that above the 3-row seating. System is awesome and rocks my 18 x 23 room. My projector is a Sony VPL-VW285ES 4K shooting onto a 130" screen. I too ran into the center speaker issue of not having something to place it on, I built a stand using pine 2x4 and stained it black. Turned out very nice.

Nice. I also have the logitech z906's and using the subwoofer on the receiver with onkyo speakers. I'm not used to seeing floor speakers sitting on the subs, but if it doesnt impact the sound i may consider it if i ever get two subs ;)

So I read a review that my Audi has a 19 speaker 16 channel system surround sound system is not good. Definitely different than home audio but it is so intense that I turn it down on side streets. 780 watts B&O system

I have my subs on opposite sides of the room...one on the front right, the other left back. I have heard so many different ways but seems to work fine. I'm just not sure about speakers on top of the subs...subs shake a lot. And you need to find a way to get center channel close to ear height....put opposite on something under the TV and prop the front up if you have to. I also have 80% klipsch
