Hi ! Just so you know : in France at least (I'm french), maybelline still sells the "dream matte mousse" (a mousse foundation in a little jar). The packaging has been changed and maybe theyy reformulated it but I think you can get it online. It's a good foundation for oily skin.

saaammage I have some insight into why the lipsticks came the way they did, and possibly the foundation sticks and why you got 2 of the same one... I work as a CVS beauty consultant and when we get our trucks in, a lot of the maybelline products (other brands too) will come in packages of 2, wrapped in plastic or in a box, the reason why one of those lipsticks came with the plastic around it but half ripped is because it looks like it was sent to amazon the same way it gets sent to cvs, which is wrapped in plastic with 2 pieces(of the same product) in it. Looks like whoever then sent the product to you just twisted the plastic to get the 2nd one out and was too lazy to unwrap the one the sent you. The same thing with the foundation sticks, they probably just saw that it was the same sku that you ordered and was too lazy to unwrap it to realize that 2 sticks came together in the plastic lol. Don’t know if you actually cared why they came like but there’s my insight into why I’m pretty sure they did lol. I mean amazon should be re-wrapping makeup they’re sending out anyways with bubble wrap so it doesn’t break before it gets to the customer.

If anyone is wondering, they recently just came out with new shades for the superstay liquid foundation exclusively at Ulta! I was using Classic Ivory but i just bought the new shade Light Beige and its a better match for me. I loveee this foundation atm!

Maaan I just don’t trust stick foundations on my oily skin. All of mine are liquid. Love the maybelline superstay foundation, i reach for it over high end foundations 🙌🏼

manic hispanic using just powder wouldn’t last on my skin and powder doesn’t have enough coverage for me. I’d use a powder foundation to set my liquid foundation. Liquid foundations I set with transluscent powder and they last forever on me

Sammy you are so quick on the new foundations! We love it. As for the lipstick coming in plastic, the warehouses send lipsticks in a pack of plastic like that sometimes they are already ripped sometimes they aren’t. I used to work for Ulta and we would get products like that. It’s very inconsistent lol

I work in cosmetics and when we receive maybelline orders, lipsticks, usually the same shades are wrapped as duos and we take them out of the plastic, they probably just were lazy and just didn’t take out the plastic completely 😊

This is finally an issue that is getting more attention as he became the wealthiest man, and a lot of the warehouse workers are living in poverty. An undercover reporter saw employees urinate in water bottles because they can’t leave the packing line as they have ridiculous quotas. I am not here for people to offer their solutions as in “just go pee”. This is the reality of a lot of people that is coming to light. Thanks for brining it up Hannah! ✊🏽
