Got this machine from the Goodwill today for $10 and it was doing the same exact thing as yours. So I monkey'd around with it for a lil bit and figured out how to Trick the Sensor. Turn it all On and pull out the coffee pot a couple times until the Leak Stop feature resets itself. It'll drop some water on the heat pad, but no biggie. Just dry it up real quick. Give a few seconds to fill the coffee filter container with water, then It should open up and start flowing. Not sure if it'll help you this late in the game,,, but, maybe for somebody else... Thanx 4 Review, Dude!!🤘🤘🤘

That’s interesting, I had a similar issue except it wouldn’t cycle water at all. Fixed it by blowing into the port and forcing water into the system (priming) and now it’s functioning and now I’m running a cleaning cycle through it.

im having problems with mine, we cleaned it with the c,ean cycle, after that it stopped brewing, when you turn it on, i no longer hear the drip stop arm moving, but i can hit the drip stop button to make the arm move, but still never brews, dont even try to pick up water, so i thought id experiment and see if it would run the hour long clean cycle and sure enough it runs fine in clean mode, have done it 4 times just seeing if it will start working. but nope, the clean cycle is the only thing that woks on it now. im going to call customer service on monday see if they can be any help, if so ill report back for others who have had similar problems. thanks for the video.

How come no follow up video? It's supposed to close the dripstop, to steep the coffee. This exact thing is happening to me right now! I just bought this coffee maker from AMZN right out of the box I'm getting this same "Add Water" malfunction. Called Shark, and they're sending me a new base. I had no idea that Ninja was made by Shark. I really trust Shark, and love their vacuums. My Navigaror Lift-away served me for 10 years! Until I upgraded for modern features
