Any medical issues should be spoken to a vet about. I have not dealt with lice, but your vet will know what to do. You can ask the lady on Gorgeous Guineas as well about the lice and easy shampoo.

I absolutely LOVE the color of the walls! I would love that color in my bunny room! It brightens it up so much! I love all the cages and how the basement turned out! How do you like your air purifier? I have always thought about getting one. Does it help with smells or anything like that?

I love it! It collects a lot of dust from the hay and it totally makes the room smell fresher. There have been a few times in the past where the power would be out while I was at work, just for a short period of time but the purifier doesn't automatically come back on and I would come home and immediately think the room seemed smelly and sure enough, it was off. It is also great to offer some air movement which I think helps circulate the pet room smells as well.

What a spectacular room!!! Hard work always pays off! I'm sure the piggies are absolutely loving all the incredible space! There is no doubt this shows how much you love your fuzzbabies and how incredibly pampered they are! Out of all the animal pet channels I watch I would say you are the sweetest and you are always putting your pets needs first!! If i was a pet I would want to live at your place! You are my guinea pig Guru! I watch every video and I've learned soooo much my husband surprised us with 2 little baby girl piggies and he of course bought a pet store cage. And I immediately started research and found your page right off the bat. After watching about 20 videos I had already ordered a c&c cage 2x4 with a 2X2 loft that is their kitchen and I bought hides huts and tunnels and toys and pee pads that I paid to overnight it here. I diy'ed my cage liners with washable adult pee pads and fleece and I have tons of pee pads down and also hand sewed a hay bag and before getting our hidey hut and cozie tunnels I hand sewed my own tunnel/hut It has 2 openings and a sun roof lol and I also made my own pee pad. And my refrigerator now has 2 whole shelves dedicated to veggies lol we are planning on getting a refrigerator for the garage lol. My husband said geese I thought they'd be cheap animals and I said well if we are going to have them we are doing it Right! And of course I kinda go overboard and love to spoil any animal I've ever had lol So I just wanted to say thank you sooo much for all your AMAZING information! I have learned so much and it's literally been 6 days that my husband came home with squeaks and doodle bug. I honestly don't know what I would do without your informational videos. 😊 thank you!!

Brandi Eckard..... my 2 daughters 1 & 3 are jealous and say I they want chew toys and huts lol cause the piggies are always getting "presents" in the mail that's what my girls call ups/fedex lol. I'm actually happy I now have a hobby cause I'm a stay at home mom and I'm here 24/7 with my girls and I never leave or take a break my husband works out and golfs and does a million other things and I sit home but now I have the piggies to spoil and I'm going to learn to sew on a machine to make all my own stuff. But yes she saved my piggies from living in a terrible cage and not having all their comfy beds lol.

At 64 years old, I am new to owning guinea pigs. My 16 year old granddaughter (who I live with) rescued a year old female from a dog shelter. The piggie was dropped off at closing. The shelter couldn't bare to turn her away, even though they don't take anything but dogs and cats. Thank goodness they did and even better that we were told about her. We were there the next morning to rescue her. She is SO sweet. We soon found out that piggies need friends. 10 days later we bought 2 7week old sisters at a wonderful pet store in our area. The 3 girls bonded immediately. We now have Joyce, Connie, and Pennie. I just want to tell you how much I learn from your FANTASTIC posts and your darling piggies. You are AMAZING! Your piggie room in beautiful. Those are some very lucky and spoiled piggies.

For the lighting thing. It may be a bit pricey, but you could put lights in that dimmed along the color and brightness spectrum over the course of the day, while still dimming down to nightlight levels at night. Either wired, with a controller, or Philips Hue with a hub. With the latter, you can add a 'switch' to the wall, or even control it with voice, via an Amazon Echo or similar.

Your pet room is just wonderful. I am so envious of you being tall enough to have your cages 3 grids wide. Since I'm only 5'2" I wouldn't be able to reach across the cages. You have a beautiful home and I'm so happy that you were able to get your basement finished. Everything is perfect.

We have nightlights at night to. Guinea pigs in the wild don't have light at night at all. Your a truly wonderful person for all this hard work and proper care for your piggies. Oh, and I have a 2x3 C&C cage, is that going to be good enough for them? I have no where else in my house to keep my piggy so I have her in my room. Is it bad that I can only fit a 2x3?

Stephanie Lee clean the cage 1-2 times a week if you have woodshavings or if you have fleece clean it 2-3 times a week and I also suggest that you should get another female for the piggy because guniea pigs live in packs! I hope this helped you😘

I think it's a lovely area for the pets! It's one of the nicest setups I've ever seen and it's great because it's great for the pets but also very convenient (well it looks like it is) for you, which is really hard to do with setups. I wish I could have something like this for my pigs! And Seymour looks so pretty in this lighting!! Honestly, when we did get to see him occasionally I thought her was almost black! He's got such a gorgeous coat I love it. Good luck with all your pets x

Aaaaoooo Im in love with your room! If i was a Guinea pig Or a bunny, i would love to live in your animalroom. It is so cosy. Love it. And as i always say....awww Calvin!! He is the sweetest of them all! Im so glad that he is still with you! Some day...when i do not have my sweet bunnies, then i want to have Guinea pigs.
