That was awesome. We've been saying for ages now, No Limits. Love that quadraplegic young lady, her attitude towards what happened to her is awesome. She made the choice to not let her accident get the better of her. She and everyone around her are the better for it. How good was that family you interviewed.

Growing up, I never imagined that Thursday’s would become the day of the week that I looked forward too. And we all know why! It’s Zatara day! This weeks entry had so many interesting themes, it would be hard to single one out as my favorite. So, I will just say “Thanks” for another entry into your very interesting world. We all appreciate you inviting us into your lives and giving us the opportunity to experience places we only dream about. Be safe my Texas friends. ❤️🇺🇸

Keith, Renee and family, I ran across your channel this past week and have been binge watching them as I get a chance.. I am undergoing medical treatment and it wipes me out, so the time spend watching your sailing videos as I recover from each treatment really is a bright spot.. Plans are underway to sell everything a buy a 40+ foot mono-hull and go cruising once I retire in little over 3 years.. Like y'all, I want to get my sea legs in the Caribbean before taking off the the Pacific.. I had a little Hunter when I lived on Padre Island, but had to sell it when the company for whom I work moved me to Dallas 2 years ago.. I recently bought a little Catalina 22 to play on Lake Lewisville to gain sailing skills until the time I can move back to the ocean.. Still have a bit more refitting before we can splash it.. Hard to do when medical treatments sap all of your energy.. I just take it slowly, because after all, even a turtle gets where it is going.. Hope to meet up with someday.. Until then, may you have fair winds and following seas.. flk k

Renee... Kudos on those great interviews with the sailing families. It's so nice that you wanted to include such a valuable look into "The Why" of people becoming cruisers, and parents raising their families at sea, and then devoted the time for in-depth, very heartfelt interviews, that went much deeper than any other sailing channels' videos I've seen... and I've been watching a lot lately! Hooked and Binging... Safe Passage Zatara! Michael in Sacramento.

Great to see the clips on handicap windsurfing, shipwreck and the lessons that can be learned. Special appreciation for the interview with the sailing family. There are so many definitions of bravery...what you and that Family have chosen is Brave. Was riding my motorcycle on country roads yesterday and met some folks that sold everything and are traveling in a converted school bus. Kinda find that Brave too. Always brings joy to my heart to see folks on Adventures. Thank you for sharing your Experiences and Adventures.

Kite surfers are a rare breed. On the lake I used to live on (sadly, we had to sell the property), kite surfers were the first ones out after the ice cleared in the spring (I live in Michigan), and were out into the fall as long as they could. It wasn't unusual to see them out there over Thanksgiving weekend. Huge props to the Kite Surfing school for the work they are doing, and to the family of the Elysian for giving their Down's child an awesome way of life.

These cruising families (including your own, obviously) are so down to earth - aware of their children's likely futures on land , and proactive in actually doing something about it.. I realize this isn't the place for politics; but briefly I just wanted to touch on the fact that there seems to be very dark and sinister agendas targeted towards our kids, especially in western countries. Honestly you people are incredible and have benefitted your families in so many ways; getting them out of the traps found in our societies on land and inspiring others to do the same.. You are also do it with grace, humility and it is beautiful to watch. You have faith in each other, and we have faith in you. Keep up the fantastic work ! Thanks.

Hey I just discovered your channel and all your videos, great content keep going. My mum has circumnavigate the globe for 7 years around and we were, with my brother, sailing kids at the time. I like that you are interviewing famillies, but i think you should give more the microphone to the kids/teens as i don't feel we have their perspective and maybe without their parents nearby. I have amazing souvenirs from those years on our boat and looking back that was probably the best experience of my life but it wasn't has shinny and beautiful as the parents says. For exemple missing the rest of the familly, loneliness, lack of having external persons to talk to when tension are on the boat and many other stuff (boat life hahah) (yeah maybe i was a sensitive child but i remember crying many times alone in my cabin thinking/missing of my grand parents and life time friends etc). Also the come back to real life is difficult, coming back into the society as a social Missfit is a hard part but this is to soon for you to experience it (cause really when you come back nobody understand you and you don't understand anybody haha). I'm 30 years old now and probably had a lot of time to think about all that overall it was a positive experience but to be fair it's not always easy as a kid, take good care of them. Anyway no worries you kids be fine and will face all of this and become grown ups with sailing dreams (yeah I'm planning to start my own circumnavigation next year) Fair winds Malo
