Great review I love your videos!! I think for me the performers are lost on such a big stage and I think Alice is more fitting in the Disneyland park. I think it would be better having a marvel stunt show or something bigger. Probably better than nothing and the set design does look impressive ❤

We are going to Disneyland Paris next week, hopefully get to see the show. We are on a multigenerational holiday as i am going with my daughter, her husband and our grandchildren. We will see how well it appeals to the whole family.

Loved this show & i'm really excited to watch it now when we go in August. I think it's one of those shows that's better seen live so you can soak up the live music, witness the BMX acrobatics & just enjoy the atmosphere. Definitely a winner for me 😍 🤩.

It is a very Disneyland Paris show and I like that it's an original take on Alice in Wonderland (it's not distinctly from either the animated film or the live action film!)

After seeing the previews i was worried and after watching the full performance that hasn't really changed my mind. Starting with the good, that stage is amazing. The screens, the colours, the trampolining all looks fantastic. The vocals are great, amazing singers. The bad... The costume design was certainly a choice, some are really good like the more traditional Alice & Queen. But the Cheshire Cat, Rabbit and others are so strange and off-putting. The theme is so odd and such a hard sell, did anyone want an Alice in Wonderland show? Then an Alice in Wonderland show that also has a 90s graffiti bmx theme. Just huh??? The songs are very catchy, but not in a good way, like a bad ear worm. Repeating 'here in wonderland' over and over does not make a good song. But it is stuck in my head. Also the genre of songs with none of them really matching the aesthetic of the theme, no 90s beats, nothing matching the graffiti/bmx style. The BMX stunts are very dull. I like bmx but apart of what makes the sport exciting is pushing it to the limits and the risk. Having bicycles just go up and down ramps gets a bit boring after a while. Especially when they're so lost on such a bit stage. The story basically said nothing too, but it's supposed to be a silly musical so not going to comment on that. I think its such a shame, especially after waiting so long to reopen the theatre and how amazing the Pixar show is.

I really really hope and pray they will stick with this show, because before even seeing this video i was sold just by the looks of the trailer alone. Its a style and theme right up my ally, and my goodness, high heavens above its just as i espekted the show to be. I feel like it’s a big step down from moteurs action. But I’ll have to see for myself to properly judge. I just DO NOT understand why on earth they would create an Alice in Wonderland themed show. It makes no sense 😅 It was the perfect opportunity to create a marvel show. I mean its basically inside avengers campus😂

I watched the show last night via KZbin on DLP Welcome KZbin channel and it’s an okay show to be honest. I am not a huge fan of BMX Extreme biking. The stage is great, the costumes are fantastic and the drummers were amazing. Other than that it’s a okay show.

I didn't know the show was on just until September! Guess I won't see it this year but I'm not that impressed so far... I absolutely love the stage setting and the songs but I just don't get the show. Those stunts look completely out of place and pretty basic. And the theming just doesn't fit there... I truly don't understand why Disneyland Paris didn't choose to do an Avengers stunt show instead, that would make so much more sense to me. I'll see it in person next year, maybe I'll change my mind.

I think the performing is good, the art and stage look is brilliant, but... I didn't feel the bmx was big enough. Once you see the bikes go across the stage once it becomes quite repetitive. I feel they should have made an avengers based stunt show. I think it would fit in more with the area and it would have more a impressive factor. We need something as big and impacting as Indiana Jones! Big scale stunts, flames, etc. That's just my opinion though. I am really curious to see if they will give us a new winter show for October to April. Or just leave the theatre desolate again 😢 as I nearly always avoid disneyland in the summer due to crowds. October to December is my months! 🙌

I'm curious to see this video and your opinion. I watched the show yesterday on DLP welcome and felt like there is a bit much going on for my taste. There is no real focus of where to look. I feel like my 5 year old would love the BMX and trampoline part, but it is way too many impressions for kids, so we will probably skip it. Also I feel like Alice has no chance to ever win.... ;-)

I find this show and entire concept so interesting! I shall hopefully catch it in September and of course will reserve full judgement until then. I’m so glad the space is back in use after a very long hiatus since Moteurs Action but I wonder whether in such a giant arena, the performances get lost? Even on this video I didn’t know what to look at, there seems so much going on! I think I prefer a much more intimate theatrical space… Also, whilst I do think it looks FABULOUS, to me it doesn’t look like it belongs in Disneyland. The design is so separate from anything Disney have produced for Alice in Wonderland. To me, the magic of shows at DLP is that they are performed by the “actual” characters. For example, you go to Together and it’s actually the Pixar characters, at Mickey and the Magician it’s actually Mickey and friends… here it’s not the Alice, Mad Hatter, Queen of Hearts etc who you can meet or see on parade, there’s a distinct lack of brand continuity. You watch this show knowing it’s not actually the Alice and friends you see on parade or meet in Fantasyland, they are just performers playing the characters, which I don’t think should happen at Disneyland… they put so much effort into the make believe, to keep the authenticity of the characters and I think this undoes that. It doesn’t look like an official Disney production, more the concept of an unofficial production company somewhere else in the world… that being said, as a spectacle it looks a lot of fun, and it’s good to see the space back in use and I’m sure people won’t care too much about whether or not it’s on brand… they’ll have a good time! I’ll be interested to see it, but I have a feeling that for me it’ll be a once only show… most of the others I’d return to again and again but let’s see! ✨

I know your always honest Sam but I want to think back to when you were watching it.. You speak really good French..if you didn’t speak French do you think it’s still as enjoyable and understandable? Too much French for a Disney show for my liking…and looking at it from a child’s view ( English child) would they understand this version of the story… It all looks great and the staging is fab but not much good if you can’t follow along with the story….👍🇬🇧

Absolutely! The show is a perfect mix of French and English, just like all the other shows in the park 😊 I spoke to English native speaking people after who all enjoyed it. Some of them with young children who had no knowledge of French, but still loved it. There isn’t much of a storyline anyway tbh. It’s a really fun, if a little strange show 🤣
