In Singapore, there was a unit of Volvo BZL sent over for trial purposes under Tower Transit that concluded its trial a while ago

Nice one, and I agree with your statement.. the 206 is a lot more busy compared to the 487.. the 206 would benefit more with a DD conversion

Thank You Very Much! Very True, 206 should have a full DD allocation. The 487 should have at least 2-3 DD's a day (especially at peak times).

Soon, there have been plans that the H14 (Hatch End - Northwick Park Hospital) will be getting withdrawn and replaced by the H17 being extended all the way to Hatch End. Because of this, I have a strong feeling that BZLs may be introduced on the H17 and 223 sometime soon

Really??? That would be sad if that happens. I like the extension of 223 (it could have been another route), but I am concerned for the future of the H14. It could get extended towards Northwood Hills to be fair to provide a strong link along the A404??? BZL's won't be coming for the H17 & 223. They are the only WJ route's that will not use them. WJ are putting them onto the 187, 206, 228, 316 & the 487 - (Sizes are fit to accommodate passenger capacity & road width)

@@jtransportbuses When I mean sometime soon, I mean sometime after they get retained by Metroline, which will be in a few years time. The bad news is after the H14 gets withdrawn in the future, the H17’s PVR would have to increase dramatically due to the loss of a DD route being replaced by SDs again. The Current PVR of the H17 is 7 vehicles, but that may have to increase to somewhere between 14-19 when the H14 gets withdrawn not long from now. As well as that, the route will need to operate on a temporary allocation, which could be more Enviro200 MMCs or Enviro 200 Darts. At the moment, the route uses 16 and 17 plate Enviro 200 MMCs which are currently undergoing refurbishment. These would likely be replaced during 2026-2027 according to TFL keeping buses for 10 years, then retiring them.

Thank You Very Much! Yeah, I recommend catching it between 7AM-1PM. It depends where you live also because I'm from NW London that was why it was easy for me to catch because I used LVF to track it down.
