Brand New Western Wideout!

I bought a brand new Western wideout plow for one of my trucks. I am so excited to use this plow. I've used them in the past and absolutely love them. I also spent the extra money and got the nighthawk led headlights. I have never used them before but I figured it would be worth shot. I must say, they are bright!

$10K 😮wtf ? It better snow ? 😂 I’ll stick with my Boss DXT. V-Blade that’s paid for . I can add wings if I need more . 😊 Great truck though 👍. I plow with my 2021 F-350 7.3 Godzilla 4.30 gears w/ plow prep 2 batteries & two alternators. Awesome plow rig.

Do those lights have the side lights on them? If so are they useful?

Do you mean lights that shine to the side, no. But the lights themselves are really bright and cover a wide path.

Wow. What are your thoughts on the Sno Power f12 with nitrogen cylinders and 8 inches of shock cushion for obstacles?

I looked into the f12 and f14. Problem was there isn’t a dealer close. I could go out of state to get one. Also the 16k price just turned me away from it. Plus a mount so it would be around $17.5-18k. Plus it would be more than I need right now. The concept is cool and it is a good plow. I just think it’s too expensive personally

Very nice setup, float mode works best when your chains have slack in them when your plow is all the way down on ground. It follows the contour of the pavement like dips or drops, only if you have slack though in the chains. If the chains are tight when plow is on the ground it will not float down in the dips etc. Great video. Thank you.

Great new setup! We like to keep all the plows the same brand for the just in case scenario I can hook up both plows to both trucks. Great video.
