Brand New Yamaha SHO Engine dies on us - OOW Outdoors

We finally decided to get a bigger boat. Needed a boat that can do both river and lake fishing comfortably and fit our budget. After looking at several offerings, we ended going with a G3 Sportsman 1910 with a 150 Yamaha SHO. We went to go pick up the new boat and took it to the lake right away to do the initial break in but ran into some issues, one in which left us stranded for 30 minutes. SMH. Enjoy the video!

Other people and I are convinced that new boats are the biggest problems sometimes over a 1-3 y/o boat. The used boats have all these -from the factory features- worked out. Never once had a new boat that did not have some issues to be worked through. Hell, those are the #1 reason why I have a trolling motor on my boats (even pontoon) - solid plan B. Nice boat - I have an 1810 (that I bought used!) and really dig it. Only challenge I'm having is finding a way for above deck rod storage.

i have the exact same boat with 90sho top speed 42mph whats your top speed with 2 guys in the boat and gear

Our boat tops out at 50 mph. But i think should go 60 with correct prop. I thibk G3 gives all the 150 guys a slow prop.
