Branded Bystial Despia PHHY Combos - Make Mirrorjade+ Dragoon in 4 summons (2+1/2 card combo)

Hi there! In this video I'm showing a way to make both Dragoon and Mirrorjade within 4 summons to play around Nibiru. Note that the Red also dodges a possible imperm on Lubellion. From here you can either just Banish the Aluber to send Albion to GY and set Branded in Red, or use some extenders.
In particular, with an extra Fusion Deployment in hand you could do the following: SS Cartesia - make Granguignol with Cartesia + Aluber - send Albion to GY - end phase: get Cartesia back and set Branded in Red.

Could you please explain how you use branded in red to summon if you’re already returning to deck with lubellion

Red is a quick play spell. I activate Lubellion on summon as chain link 1 (it's a fusion effect, you don't have to say what you're making and with what material until resolution). Then, I play Red as chain link 2. Red resolves and banishes the Lubellion, then Lubellion's effect resolved to fuse.

Well, you just need bf + red, so there's plenty of 2 card pairings that get you this. And you can always extend based on what you have in your hand (like, a Cartesia to make Granguignol to dump the DM with, so that you can go BF into Albion, them Lubellion and then use this Red trick, so you have some extra stuff on board; but it's a 3 card combo and can be interrupted by Nibiru) Unless you're playing predaplants, I don't think there's any other way to make this end board going first with less than a 3 card combo.

@@mirodyugioh Isnt this kind of a waste for branded in red if you dont have something to recycle it from the GY?

@@pantherkhan6688 Red isn't that important nowadays (it's just a 1-of in all the lists I've seen). I also play one copy of White, one Retribution, and one Banishment, so I think there's plenty of follow up if needed.

@@mirodyugioh I see. I am also running 1 Branded in Red at the moment and mostly use it for summoning chimera on my opponents turn which always seemed like a pretty good thing to do with Red but I guess this is also pretty great. Thank you for answering :)

@@pantherkhan6688 yes, Chimera is quite good, especially this format. But I find myself going for an Ad Lib search too rarely to rely on it. I've been considering trying to add patchworks though

🤷 Getting Ashed happens. Every deck dies to something. But depending on the hand you can play despite getting Ashed. In fact, thinking your plays with a BF never resolves midnset all the time is what separates a good Branded player from someone who just picked up the deck.
