I finally updated my Branded Darklord Despia deck! This is a very underrated Branded variant. The first Darklord is an incredible boss monster and very hard to get rid of, especially combined with Theater of the Branded. Throw in an easy Mirrorjade with Branded fusion, and you have an incredibly strong board! I absolutely love Darklords, and this is probably the strongest way to play them, even though I am getting a little tired of all these Branded decks, this one is an exception!

Playing a variant of this deck using Archlord Krystia to make turn 1 special summon lock. Opponents usually surrender when Kristya is out alongside Mirrorjade, Lubellion and First Darklord

I'd honestly say both, branded despia is still top tier and this darklord variant can do everything that deck does and more, a bit less consistent maybe, but the overall power is higher imo!

Can you only clear your opponent’s board with the first dark lord the turn it is summoned? Or can i use that affect in future turns?

That effect only activates once, when he is fusion summoned using Morningstar I believe

No it has to be used/activated on the exact moment/turn he is summoned using Morningstar

why do you use despian proskenion and predaplant triphyoverutum in your extra deck instead of other monters?

Mostly because they are good targets for super poly, especially against other branded decks, but yeah you can switch them out for waterer you like best

Why do u put your monsters in defense mode so often (I want to know so I can use the deck better)

Just out of safety sometimes, if you face a deck that can boost one monster to cray atk, def pos can save your live (for example arc rebellion xyz dragon) but rly not super important, just a habit I guess

Also to watch out for lightning storm on your first turn. It can destroy all your attack positions monsters so putting them in defense is a nice shield
