12:35 I don't think the snake-eye player messed up at all, the way they sequenced the interruptions plays around super poly very efficiently, there is no reason to summon IP and leave 2 DARKs on board or synchro with flamberge into Baronne then make Apo to leave 2 WINDs on board Great content grinder

Pretty sure if mj is put in the st, you're technically not controlling it since it wouldnt have his monster effects, it'd be a continous spell.

I think at 8:35 he made the correct play putting MJ in the spell trap instead of destroying it. By putting it there, it stops him from being able to make a new MJ since he technically still controls one. I also think you were correct in that he shouldve activated MJ to send something for cost even though it was negated. If only Nightfall were here.

Why isnt anyone playing the FTK? Its not even bad, all you need is one blazing phoenix and agave in ED, no need for extra maindeck bricks. And they definitly have the space since they play a lot of random toolbox cards like dharcc or heatsoul.

Snake eyes player opens cracked and just made an unbreakable board. Only weakness is some effects have to be sequenced to use all of their interactions properly.

Not even Super Poly works there. The sequencing is designed specifically to play around the card such that you can never use more than 1 of the Snake-Eye player’s monsters per Super Polymerization. You would have to play in a way that forces I:P early or give up your battle phase to clear the Formula Synchron.
