I also noticed this, but the opponent activated opening immediately after which it would've just been chained to there instead, so it didn't really have any impact on the game at all.

5:01 branded lost only stops the activation of cards when you're fusion summoning or the trigger effects of fusion monsters not the quick effects, furious's effect is a quick effect here not a trigger

You can activate it's quick effect in the summoning window, lost protects that.

Yea they look like they are new to the deck, its fine tho if they are learning it the deck is super complex and theres alot to keep track of. If they are not new idk what to say lol
