Most of us call it an Adirondack Chair. The neighbors to the north call it a Muskoka chair. But let's not fight about it. Either way undoubtedly, the slatted wooden chair has come to symbolize easy summertime living. The Adirondack Chair is one of the few products on BRANDMADE.TV that is not one specific identifiable brand. In fact the famous slatted wooden chair has become such a mythic piece of outdoor furniture that its origins are proudly and boastfully claimed by multiple people in the Adirondack Mountain area of New York State, and also by folks in Canada who call it a Muskoka Chair, for the vacation area in the Province of Ontario.

I made on for my wife a few years ago. My mother-in-law visited and wanted me to make her one. Her friend saw the one I made for her and offered to pay me for one. Now I make and sale about 30 a year.
