Ask yourself this. Do your favorite artists engage with you? Usually no. I think engagement is overrated. If I don't like your music I don't really care about you constantly engaging with me or anything you do.

Lol...but the biggest artist originally had to engage with others to get people to listen to their music, either by networking, connections, or actual fan interaction. You think celebs just got people giving them thousands of dollars for their music overnight? There are THOUSANDS of people who try to build a music career, who put out really good music! Yet they never get that big due to the lack of networking or luck.

I recommeded anyone to join underrated or almost popular franchise fandom (maybe I think) such as Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf, Happy Heroes, Motu Patlu, Noonbory, Wakfu, Kaeloo, School of Roars, Homestar Runner, El Goonish Shive, the Order of the Stick, Girl Genius, Penny Arcade, Tenchu, Elsword, Epic Battle Fantasy, Ganbare Goemon, Criminal Case series, Samurai Pizza Cats, Doraemon, Len'en Project, Old Master Q, Capitol Critters, The Little Vampire, Jimmy Two Shoes, Fighting Foodons. And you know what? That underrated or almost popular franchise is Okay and Average to fandom Btw reason why i'm know that underrated or almost popular franchise is because TV Tropes or Wikipedia (I'm not kidding just search that underrated or almost popular franchise on TV Tropes article or fandom wiki which that website is still exist for today)
