With the rapid advancement of AI, music stores are building ever more refined and powerful algorithms to identify artificial streams. The only way to counter this trend in the future is to have equally sophisticated software, and bypass the many event trackers and spyware that come with these store apps that detect human or artificial behavior. If you aren't an insider, it can be nearly impossible to find a developer with this specific niche and skillset. Even if they have the skills, they may not have the moral disposition to create such a tool. I know because I been in this game for years. That's why years ago I set about to learn programming myself. A program of this nature is pretty much the highest intellectual pursuit in the programming world (next to something like a 3D graphics engine). I recommend using social media's bots to bring you the RIGHT traffic, meaning social media will show your posts to people you target, and you want those people to be people that will actually like your stuff and support you. The labels pay people to run up their numbers on top of fake streams and numbers but for an independent artist, that will hurt you more than help you like you said.

The stream count to cost ratio isn't anywhere close to what Spotify pays out for subscription based streams. The only way for a bot service to be profitable would be through free accounts. Spotify started in America in August of 2011. Chad started getting into bots in 2011 . He would have to do all of his non music bot work in 8 months.
