1) highly highly doubt they told him they don't want him 2) he's in the 5th yr option so he'll be in the team this yr anyway 3) I don't care how this ultimately ends. I'm not losing sleep over it. They prepare for stuff like this. Thus drafting Pearsall etc..Pearsall and Cowing can equal Aiyuk's production. He can stay or go. Niners will still be good

I disagree, you take Aiyuk out of this offense and they aren't better. He's the only player that stretches the field. Without any downfield threats, they go back to a dink and dunk offense where they maybe score 20 pts per game.

I don’t have a problem with players holding out but u have a big problem with BA openly flirting with other teams and post they don’t want me back. That’s trying to get the fans to pressure the niners into a contract they don’t want. If I was the niners I would pull any offer I made and would say u can play on the 5th year option and we will talk next year.

I am getting tired of hearing about his on field play. What about how he’s acting right now…. Deebo might have scrubbed his account of 49ers stuff, but not one player ever acted like this while in negotiations. Of course the 49ers want him to stay. However, they know with the team they have and the players they have paid and will have to pay… they don’t just want to hand out money to someone just because. They say, for example, a specific QB will not be as good on anther team. The fact is that statement goes for everyone, not just QBs. Aiyuk will not be as amazing on any other team. I any other team meaning one that could afford him. Because Aiyuk needs playmakers around him to excel. If that’s not the case then let him go and prove it with the Giants… just saying, 🤣

@coreykouakou2701 and that’s why you don’t own a company, let alone a football organization. Just pay him? Why? Didn’t they try? Didn’t he say no? So BA is not asking for too much money? He is on the level as AJ Brown, Tyreek Hill, and Jefferson??? Come on dude, more than not, it’s the players that demand too much, sometimes after the payday they are not the same… not saying about Aiyuk… and I think it’s a good thing that 49ers stand their ground. The players walk all over the organizations and NFL. There is no way, right now at this point in life, that Aiyuk hasn’t made enough to take care of his family, or secure the future. Is it the NFLs or teams fault that these players are not wise with millions they pay them… while covering medical costs… while having opportunities to be sponsored, making more money. If he was making contested catches with 2 defenders covering him… making catches on bad passes while being covered, if he was the only real target on the team, I would say pay the man. But WRs are a dime a dozen in the league, especially when the Niners are built the way they are, with a coach like Kyle.

@BBaker916 I don't what this is in reference to, but he was there, and wide open many times. Purdybdid over throw him once or twice on a deep ball... total nerves of his first super bowl... but at the same time, like I was saying. There are so many play makers on this team it can be and won't be expected that Aiyuk is the target and vision every single play. Which means, why would you pay him anything over 26 to 28 million? Why is he being do greedy? You never see me turn down a 12 million a year raise let alone the potential of 100 million total! I would never have to play again or work again or worry about anything for the rest of my generations to come. At least half of that will go somewhere to grow on its own accord. Some will go to investments and still have plenty left to splurge for a lifetime. That's the only reason I don't u derstand the demand and greed of any one of these big time players.

Brandon Aiyuk put up numbers as a 3rd option with alot less targets from 4 different QBs (only one is a current starter) AND....only one of them threw for 4K+ yards in a year. BA did everything the team has asked of him so how you expect him to feel 🤷🏾‍♂️
