i still think it was very telling of the writers when they sang this song in the musical episode showing it thru Brandon's eyes what the song means for him ... How he starts off singing it with Courtney likes its his mind saying your settled she can make you happy but then how his duet switches to him and Callie singing as if saying but don't decieve yourself your heart is and always will be Callie's it was as if that scene was saying Courtney is your choice for now but your first choice will always be Callie .

Wrong song lol whoops I was thinking of forever when it alternates between Courtney and Callie for him ... but even in the episode when they were singing practicing this song it was so emotional the look he had in his eyes as he was watching her as he sang and played the piano . Callie singing with him getting so lost in the moment . Even the lyrics of the song especially coming from Brandon say so much about her and how he feels about Callie..
