@@tabbott429 Who said he was drunk? This report didn't, He was detained cooperated, and the police was waiting for test results back to see if he was over the alcohol limit. They don't know if he was drunk. The team acted based on detainment not being drunk.

The NFL along with other professional sports teams have driver services for the players when such issues arise including the vehicle being transported to a location of their choice.

I in no way condone DUI, DWI, OWI or whatever jurisdiction you’re in call it. However, this is a miscarriage! I understand the NFL has clauses (morality for one example) why is everyone so quick to find this person guilty…he WASN’T even charged. He was released WITHOUT being charged, pending the results of the blood test. He was cooperative and respectful (as stated by the police) unlike some athletes/celebrities. The team should have at the minimum waited to see what his blood alcohol level was before releasing him. The Lions are “canceling” this guy WITHOUT evidence! They can at least wait till the findings of the blood test come back. Looking at the comments, ppl are condemning this person without all the facts. “If” he was intoxicated and blood levels over the legal limit, then yes…no excuse! Could have gotten a ride or an Uber. The Team probably provides a service to their members (just guessing). “If” he was acting like a jerk or worse, then I could at least understand the backlash, but by all accounts he WASN’T. Here’s a thought, let’s stop “prejudging” ppl before ANY “actionable” facts are presented (ie: blood tests results). Cancel Culture at its finest! Smdh! (IMO)

The lesson? If you have a big day the next day,… you stay home. The second lesson, agent emergency phone on speed dial on a burner phone. You fo the cell phone in a bag so when they ask you to roll the window down, the phone and the agent number. Let the agent do all the talking. Let him go through the 4th ammendment with them and such. They have no probable cause to search unless you comply and take the failure ready subjective test. There are millions of these online. Tennessee is under fire for making up DUIs where people go through the ringer do the blood test as sober, sober when “failing” those bullshit tests. …. Losing jobs, legal fees unable to find jobs,…. Getting it right 100 times with no victims does not make it ikay to get it wrong once.
